Hello everyone! My name is Bradleigh Duman, and I am currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My goal is to merge sustainability, fashion, and bold statement pieces into one cohesive vision. Much of my inspiration comes from nature—particularly my summers spent in the Outer Banks, where I learned both peace and resilience from the ocean. Through my work, I hope to inspire a connection to the ocean’s beauty—encouraging wearers to embrace both the strength and delicacy found in nature’s rhythm. My jewelry practice is rooted in nature and the way animals survive instinctively, finding beauty in simplicity and resilience. I approach design with the philosophy of constantly learning, experimenting, and pushing myself toward what feels new or even intimidating. This drive defines my practice—I embrace unconventional materials and processes, working primarily with silver, wood, and Rhino, while incorporating recycled elements to give new life to overlooked materials. My intention is to create jewelry that communicates confidence: sophisticated and editorial, yet with an unapologetic edge. I want my work to feel both welcoming and daring, evoking a reaction from those who see it. Ultimately, my goal is to craft jewelry that is unique, bold, and expressive—pieces that allow people to feel empowered and unapologetically themselves.
